GOBLIN SECRETS
The book is heeeeeeeeeere!

My friend, writing group comrade, and neighbor Will Alexander's debut novel GOBLIN SECRETS launches today. It is a very very very very very good book, and I think everyone should buy twelve copies. But don't take my word for it; ask Last Unicorn author Peter S. Beagle:
"Goblin Secrets is a knockout. It's an original, owing absolutely nothing to Tolkien, or to any of his descendants, disciples or imitators. As a lifelong sucker for theatre and books about theatre, I don't know a fantasy novel that's used performing and maskmaking in just that way."
If it's good enough to get a starred Kirkus review and it's good enough for Beagle, it's good enough for me. Actually that's not true. It's just good enough for me because it is so impossibly good.
Deeply interesting, absorbing, real world. Characters I believe in and care about. Masks. Theater. Goblins. Clockwork witches and walking houses and bridges people live on and magical traveling stages and masks and did I mention theater and masks?
I love this book. I love this man. I think you should read it. It is classified Middle Grade, but that is completely beside the point unless it makes you buy extra copies for your kids/cousins/nieces.
READ THIS AMAZING BOOK! You will thank me, later.

I just read it the other day. It was pretty darn good, as you say, and you're right - I couldn't read it and say that it was obviously ripping off any other author I've ever read.
